About

I didn't become a photographer to escape the world, I became one to appreciate it more deeply.

As an Army veteran and a science teacher at a Title I middle school, much of my life has been devoted to service, learning, and helping others see what they're capable of. Photography is a natural extension of that. It reminds me to slow down, stay curious, and notice the extraordinary beauty woven into everyday life.

Whether I'm photographing the quiet intensity in an animal's eyes, the delicate symmetry of a flower, or the way light transforms an ordinary landscape, I'm searching for moments that invite us to pause. My hope is that these images do more than decorate a wall—I hope they inspire people to look a little closer at the world around them.

I've been fortunate to receive international recognition for my nature photography, but awards have never been the reason I pick up a camera. The greatest compliment I can receive is hearing that one of my photographs made someone stop, smile, or see something they might have otherwise missed.

The world is filled with remarkable things, if we're willing to slow down long enough to notice them.

Thank you for visiting. I hope these photographs help you discover a little more wonder in the world—and perhaps in your own backyard.
